Introduction: Jena Murray
Hello our lovely readers... it's another greeting from the Pacific Northwest!
I'm Jena from Jena Murray Photography and I also hail from Bellingham, WA just like the lovely Misha Waite listed below... we even live just 3 blocks apart from one another! Bellingham is an awesome little town situated between the North Cascade Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, a hop away from the San Juan Islands and the border into British Columbia, Canada. This area is popular for destination weddings, but I also do a lot of my weddings in the Seattle and Portland areas as well as some traveling to other destinations.
Here's me (photo by Melissa Jill)...

My husband, Kevin, and I are proud parents of a 90 lbs yellow lab named Zephyr. Even though he's the size of a 5th grader, he's still our little fur baby. Zephyr has created a well worn path between my studio and Kevin's studio which is Incite Product Group. "Take your Dog to Work Day" is... well, everyday for us!
I photograph mostly a mix of children and weddings throughout the year ~ I consider myself both a photographer and a storyteller, as I try to create photographs that tell some sort of story between individuals and their loved ones, whether it's at their home, a favorite spot, or on their wedding day. I've been shooting professionally for just over 7 years and also have an new album company for wedding photographers, called Lush Albums. (If you like the look of these handmade letterpress albums, be sure to forward the link to your photographer, wink-wink!)
Here are some recent wedding photos to check out... If you are interested in seeing some of my children's work, please be sure to check out the website and blog. Cheers!

Introduction: Michèle M. Waite
Greetings from the Pacific Northwest.
Michèle here from Michèle M. Waite Photography. I also go by Misha because sometimes people think I am a man (although Michèle and Misha are both boy names in French and Russian-- thanks Mom and Dad!) I live in beautiful Bellingham, Washington on the bay where it is often chilly but so amazingly gorgeous that it is worth it. I have a spicy 2 and half year old, Daphne Eloise and a fantastic husband, Mark who is in rigorous training to be my assistant and second shooter when he is not being a fabulous marriage and family counselor.
I love shooting weddings! Some people think that is crazy, but I really and truly do. I have been shooting them professionally for 13 years and I am not weary! My style has been called whimsical, artistic, editorial and photojournalitic. Here are a few of my favorites from the past year. Come and check out my blog for more!

Adrienne Maples from Kansas City
Hi! I'm Adrienne Maples & I live in Kansas City with my husband, Scott Hacker & our two feline friends, Tunga & Isis. I am from South Georgia originally (born & raised a southern girl!) but I love the change of season & wealth of opportunities the Midwest has provided me. I was thrilled to team up with the PhotoGirls & add my creativity to an already amazing group of all-star ladies! I know we have much to learn & gain from one another.
I am anxious for our trip next year & I must say our gathering in NC was definately a major highlight of 2008! I've already learned so much from the girls & it's wonderful to have such a supportive group of girlfriends. Rock on ladies!! And for all of those who happen across our page- share & learn from one another. Love is the killer application. (Ok, I stole that from a book but that doesn't make it any less true!)
You can learn more about me through my personal website http://www.amaples.com or my daliy ramblings at http://www.amaples.blogspot.com
This fabulous headshot of me was taken by the very talented Melissa Jill.
Here are a few of my favorite moments- I hope you enjoy!

Meet Melissa Jill

And in case you were wondering:

Hi everybody! I'm super-excited to be a part of the photogirls and have decided to direct my enthusiasm by being the 1st this month to post an introduction of myself. I met most of these girls for the first time a month ago at a beach house in North Carolina. I flew all the way across the country from Phoenix Arizona to hang out with them for a week and it definitely paid off. It's so refreshing to hang out with other photographers who share your passion...and some of your struggles...and to share it all. I encourage everyone in the industry to find other photographers to develop relationships with--and give generously of yourselves to one another--it really ends up paying you back ten-fold.
Anyhow, I guess I'm supposed to talk about little 'ol me in this post. Huh.
I live in Phoenix, Arizona with my cute dog Dixie:

The one thing that makes me different from the 11 other photogirls: I'm single (happy single, not bitter single :))
I love chocolate, Mexican food, reality TV, Jesus and playing games (not necessarily in that order).
I also love weddings and seeing couples deeply and genuinely in love. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I do. I've been shooting weddings for the past five years and have met and worked with some amazing people in the process. I'm a perfectionist, love a challenge, and enjoy getting to know new people, so this job is perfect for me. I'm always pushing myself to be a better photographer and business woman. And the process is so rewarding.
Blah blah blah....enough about me! :)
Here's a sample of my work:

If you haven't gotten enough of me (doubtful, I know :)), you can find me here and here.
And feel free to leave a comment so I can say, "Nice to meet you too!"
